About — Uniforms

Shirt – The official Cub Scout shirt comes in long or short sleeves and features button-flap pockets with “Scouting America” embroidered in gold above the right pocket.

Patches – These are required on the uniform shirt and include:

• Pack number patches (3, 4, 0)

• Den number patch

• Three Fires Council patch

• Purple World Crest patch

• World Crest 1910 Ring patch
  
  

Neckerchief – Each Cub Scout rank has its own official BSA neckerchief:

• Tiger: Orange with navy-blue trim

• Wolf: Gold with navy-blue trim

• Bear: Light blue with navy-blue trim

• Webelos: Plaid with navy-blue trim
  
  

Only official Scouting America neckerchiefs should be worn.

Neckerchief Slide – Scouts may wear the official gold-tone metal slide with their rank logo, or a handmade slide.

Red Brag Vest – This vest is used to display patches and awards that are not worn on the uniform shirt.

Trousers or Shorts – Official blue uniform pants or shorts. (Pack 340 asks that sports or “swishy” pants not be worn.)

Belt – Official navy-blue web belt with metal buckle featuring the Tiger, Cub Scout, or Webelos emblem.

Socks – Official socks come in ankle, crew, or knee length.

• Tigers: Navy with orange tops

• Wolves & Bears: Navy with gold tops
  
  

Cap – Official cap for each rank:

• Tiger: Navy with orange front panel and Tiger emblem

• Wolf: Navy with yellow front panel and Wolf emblem

• Bear: Navy with blue front panel and Bear emblem

• Webelos: Olive cap with plain panel and Webelos logo
